A clean shave
Adam has been having his haircuts at home for years now. His mum whips out the clippers and gives him a quick and professional short back and sides. Therefore he thought the whole process must be extremely simple. Happy with the idea that once we had moved out I would be able to very easily give him the same expert treatment, we went to the shops and he came home triumphant with his purchase; a top-of-the-line clipper set.
The other night he eagerly announced it was time for his haircut as he was looking a little wild and wooly. I reluctantly began ( I had no confidence I could do it!) And I was right to be reluctant...First the whole thing looked lopsided and wonky and second I accidentally shaved his sideburns, and the hair all around his ears, completly off.
Feeling a little disheartened Adam went to try and fix up the mess...which was going okay until...he shaved a substantial sized bald patch right on the side of his head. After that there was no choice put to to shave all those curls off. The night started in shock and dismay and ended in a lot of laughter. When something goes so terribly wrong, all you can do is laugh it off.

Wow! Adam will be going to the barber for sure after this :-O Are you sure he just wasn't trying to copy a certain pop princess? :-)
Don't worry, hair always grows.
